The first batch of Smart Suggestions v2 has launched, as well as various bug fixes while a lot of existing work is being carried over into November

This month is a bit light on actual features, as you can see from the changelog. Finalizing Smart Suggestions took a lot longer and I am still not finished with that work, but the main chunk of v2 release has been done. I've also started on a lot of new things, as we creep closer to the end of the year, so I am hoping for a big drop of features in November.

As mentioned in the previous update, I've been working on the smart suggestions upgrade for awhile and I am happy to say it has been released to everyone this month.

Suggestions have a new Ignore button

🧹Bad Data Reporting

Kenmei has thousands of series and will have tens of thousands in the future -> as any data source, there will be a never ending process of improving series information as time goes on. To help me address existing data issues and any future ones, I am adding a new report type

Currently, it's being only used internally by me, but I will be making it available to everyone in the coming weeks, so that you could help with flagging issues on series you personally track or might have seen while searching for a particular series

📈Progress Overview

Another month of mostly behind the scenes work - I am working on a bunch of things that will be revealed soon, all in preparation for the big release of Discovery and Advanced Search next year. There is still a ton of work to do, especially around data correction...

I am still wrapping up the new Smart Suggestion - Deprecated Source Suggestion, that will help everyone migrate series that are due to be removed from Kenmei in the coming months. In parallel, I am working on all the remaining functionality for Discovery and Advanced Search - as well as doing a comprehensive fixing of data - which includes fixing data on hundreds of series and deleting series that should never have been added to Kenmei to begin with.
