Profiles launched into Early Access - combined with ability to upload own banners.

Profiles have launched in Early Access! While it's very limited at the moment, with the foundations set, I will be able to rapidly add additional features and hopefully release it out of Early Access in a few months. I haven't had a chance to work on much else due to getting sick in the middle of the month, so this update is fairly short

The long-awaited profile page is now live for Premium Lite members!

While it's still in a very basic form, there are a lot of new features that launched with it, so let me walk you through it.

First of all, you will now be able to upload your banner in the Settings menu.

This is a new perk for Premium Lite, as you'll see when you try to upload it without having a Premium.

In addition to that, it is now possible to set your username as well as profile visibility. This functionality is also in Early Access at the moment, but everyone will be able to adjust these settings before the end of the month.

Moving onto the actual page, you will be able to see both your Activity Feed, as well as overall statistics for your profile.

Taking privacy into consideration, you can delete individual entries if you want. Moreover, soon you will be able to exclude a series from the activity feed, using a checkbox when adding or editing an entry.

This page will rapidly expand soon, so you will be able to both view others' libraries as well as more in-depth statistics, so you can find out exactly what tags you like the most, which series you've read the most and much more!

While I managed to ship Profiles into Early Access, overall I wasn't too happy with the rate of progress this month. Combined with getting sick for a week, I didn't finish as much work as I set out to do, which has been disappointing. I hope to make up for that next month.

In January, I plan to double down on trying to finish as much of the Profile functionality as possible. I don't plan to keep this feature in Early Access for too long, which is why I plan to spend as much time as possible to finish all the base functionality I have planned for it.

Here's the updated list of priorities:

  1. Profile Page Lists

  2. Profile Page Stats

  3. Additional Privacy Settings

  4. Friend System
